Nice little piece from Lars Pank in Denmark yesterday. I like art with subtleties. Small symbols can mean big things and meaning is everywhere if we just take the time to look. This is what drew me to Lars’s work in the first place. Here is a really fun play on ideas and the electromagnetic properties of brain function. Big ups Pank!

Heres a clip from channel three with a nice little slash of my work from the show at GCS last Saturday. With the economy in the shitter and funding almost completely gone Its a miracle there’s any culture left in America. We are turning into a nightmare. A homogenized strip mall with only big business representing whatever was left of Americas voice. Please support the arts.

Here is a flick from Unit B studio In Santa Ana CA. You cant tell from the photo, but Im painting on a vert ramp. Im actually 20 feet from the bottom. Some paintings really vibe on their surroundings. In this case I had the opportunity to paint with a super squad of Graff legends:

Skateparks, spraypaint, good hip hop and good people make for some badass art. Grateful to be a part of it.

Miceofmillions three year anniversary.

Hard to believe it’s been three years since I thought this crazy thing up. Being an artist has it’s up’s and downs. There are times when everything is amazing and others when you really question whether your sanity. No path forged alone is going to be easy and this year has not been an exception. The countries economic woes have not been good on the art market and things are tough for everyone. On the brighter side, we have a bunch of new crew members who have been essential to keeping morale high at the Millions base camp. I remain hopeful that our vision will continue to expand as the miceofmillions project grows and evolves. Buddy Joseph Calvert has been essential for planning, preparing and helping me execute walls. Lars Pank, a gifted painter from Denmark has joined and I look forward to his arrival in the states sometime soon. I will keep everyone posted on new walls and clothing projects. I am sorry for my lack of diligence in the posting area. I will do my best to update as much as I can.

We will also be painting the warehouse top to bottom for the show. Spent the last month painting in the dark at Location 1980, Located at 1980 Placentia. Costa Mesa CA. I had the opportunity to paint a really epic wall. It’s about 15 ft tall by 65 long and i call it “on the town”. The narrative is really quite simple. Two bunnies gearing up to kill the citizens of the city. Big ups to Joseph Calvert for helping me in this endeavor.
